The fundamental basis of the Studio Dreams program is social change through action, with the creation of a training program based on educational activities, from a cultural and artistic vision.
The purpose of this project is to generate dialogue and exchange knowledge between a guest artist and the community of Villanueva del Rosario (as well as interested people from other localities) in order to create bridges and connections, or social cohesion.
The main objective of the program is to generate a rapprochement between the cultural movement of the town of Villanueva del Rosario and the citizens through artistic practices or activities that promote art as a tool for social integration.
The “STUDIO DREAMS” program has the following general objectives:
- To offer community artistic activities as a strategy to increase social support.
- To assist in the development of social cohesion among people from different backgrounds or social hierarchies in the community of Villanueva del Rosario.
- Promote community participation in contemporary culture and vice versa.
- To increase social cohesion and cultural resources of the community. To foster empathy, understanding, and well-being, and to increase the quality of the place. Promote self-realization and self-sufficiency through the conception and realization of artistic projects.
- Learning and acquiring tools and skills to integrate artistic production processes.
